We had a water view. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Also loved all the Dove products….shampoo, conditioner, and body wash built on the side of the shower. So much better than those little tubes most hotels hand out. Breakfast had a nice wide variety of options. I think they had pretty much anything you could think of for breakfast. Including many hot items. They have 24hr hot cocoa, tea and I believe coffee. They have ice machines on-site, however, they also have complimentary half bags of ice in the market area. I feel they have really gone above and beyond thinking of everything a customer may need to have a fabulous stay. would recommend 10 out of 10. Will be returning next time we are visiting. :)

Great location! Some noise from the busy road but expected. Decent size room with 2 queen size beds. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided and was brand Dove which was great. Breakfast had a great choice of Cinnamon buns (warm), pancakes, toast, bacon, omelettes etc. Coffee wasn't great really, was quite sweet using the coffee mate milk powder. I would rather use fresh milk. Recommend the Aquarium in Monterey and the 17 Mile Drive for amazing beaches to visit. Also Carmel by the sea is about 20minutes away, we did the 17 Mile Drive to get there and take in the views. Bonus, In & Out burger next door! McDonald's and Starbucks down the road.

We love how easy it was to book the hotel, and how the page show up-front the price of the room, percentages of taxes that would be added to book the room. Everything was transparent and upfront, unlike other hotels showed their prices so cheap, made us happy that we found the best rate, but when we proceeded to book it the price went up so high. Other hotels are not upfront with their rates. We appreciate a great deal that you provide complimentary breakfast, we love it. Thank you, Holiday Express Inn!

Staff was accommodating and friendly, check in was a breeze with lots of helpful tips! Breakfast was a hit with our party, great selection and delicious. Greatly appreciated last minute request for nearby rooms which hotel and staff came through and provided. Bathrooms are stocked with big sized shampoo and body wash so no need for constant requests of the "sample" sizes.

We absolutely loved the location. We were given a room on the 5th floor and we had a fabulous view of the small lake behind the hotel. It was nice to step out on the balcony and watch the wildlife. We also loved that the window was floor to ceiling.
